Aged Care Facilities

Catering for 43 residents, our modern home is located only one kilometre from the banks of the Canning River. Joseph Cooke House was named after Senator Joseph Cooke who was a Knight of the Southern Cross and a founding member of the Board of Southern Cross Care Homes Incorporated. He eventually became a Senator in the Commonwealth Parliament and President of the ALP in Western Australia. Joseph Cooke House is centrally located with nearby amenities including a post office, bank, bowls club, community centre and a chemist. There is also a medical centre close by, as well as hospital and ambulance services. Leach Highway is within close proximity, and with on-site visitor parking and public bus stops close by, visiting is a breeze. It is co-located with Thomas Perrott Village, one of our independent living villages.
